NARS Montego Bay Lipstick

I had wanted to try something from NARS for such a long time. I'm always reading really good things about the brand and have quite a long list of their products on my wish list. I got one of their lipsticks for Christmas and I love it. 

The shade of this is called Montego Bay and it's a soft pink which I think is so pretty. What I liked about this while looking online before I got it was that it's pure matte. I love matte lipsticks and after buying MAC's Velvet Teddy last year I became obsessed with matte lipsticks. This is very smooth, it glides on my lips and it's just an easy product to apply. 

On the John Lewis website it says that this product is moisturising and the formula includes ingredients that are known to hydrate, nourish and condition. I totally agree with this description. This lipstick isn't drying, which is perfect.

I love that this product is really pigmented, but its also very buildable. This lipstick is long lasting and that's something I really like because I don't particularly like having to keep reapplying lipsticks when I'm out. Overall I love this lipstick. Now I definitely want to try more lipsticks from NARS.
